I really think I can make something of this.  (It's a 3D sketchbook, in case you hadn't noticed!)

Here's another page from the sketchbook.  Can you spot Sawyer, lost in time, on the island?!  I've got another One-to-One tutoring contract for after Christmas to keep me busy.

Here's a page from the sketchbook, which I think would be the basis for a good painting.  I've been tutoring adults on Fridays for the past month.  My last session of this course today.  My observation last week went well, and the  feedback from the students was very positive - so it looks like I've got a new job.

My first abstract oil painting!  First the half finished version, then (inverted!) the finished piece. We've started compiling a sketchbook now, which I'm really enjoying.  Very cathartic.  I began with a Lost theme, using my sketch of Sawyer.  Rob worried me by going to a Marilyn Manson concert in Brixton - but came home safely at 1.30am having thoroughly enjoyed himself.  So I suppose we'll have to go through it all on a regular basis now.

And another, slightly more arty one!  Finished college for this term - so a chance to start illustrating my friend's book.  I think we've decided on a style, so next comes the storyboard.

For a whole month I've been far too busy to manage a sketch a day, or even to update my blog. Never mind here is a nice photo from the Anish Kapoor exhibition instead to keep you going, Blogwatchers!  (I liked the canon best!)
